• THIS VEHICLE IS DESIGNED AND PERMITTED TO BE DRIVEN ON ROADWAYS POSTED AT NO MORE THAN 25 MPH AND ONLY ON ST. SIMON’S ISLAND AND ONLY BY THE DESIGNATED LICENSED DRIVER, WHO IS A MINIMUM OF 21 YEARS OF AGE, AS PER YOUR HIGH TIDE CARTS CONTRACT AND GLYNN COUNTY ORDINANCE §2-15-67.

• THIS VEHICLE SHALL NOT BE REMOVED OR DRIVEN ANYWHERE OTHER THAN SAINT SIMON’S ISLAND, GA or SEA ISLAND, GA ON/IN COMPLYING ROADWAYS OR COMMUNITIES. CARTS RENTED ON SEA ISLAND MUST REMAIN ON SEA ISLAND, AS SEA ISLAND CAUSEWAY HAS A 45 MPH SPEED LIMIT.

• BE COURTEOUS TO FASTER MOVING TRAFFIC. YOU MUST GIVE FASTER MOVING CARS ON THE ROAD THE RIGHT OF WAY. PULL OVER IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN 3 CARS BEHIND YOU IN TRAFFIC. DO NOT OBSTRUCT TRAFFIC.

• YOU MUST HAVE YOUR DRIVERS LICENSE AND PROOF OF INSURANCE AT ALL TIMES DURING VEHICLE OPERATION.

• NO MORE THAN 4 PERSONS PER VEHICLE. 6 persons for the Limo carts

• EACH OCCUPANT OF A PTV SHALL BE RESTRAINED BY A SEAT BELT WHILE THE PTV IS BEING OPERATED ON A PUBLIC STREET. CHILDREN UNDER 8 YEARS OF AGE SHALL BE RESTRAINED IN A PROPERLY INSTALLED CHILD PASSENGER RESTRAINING SYSTEM. CHILDREN MAY BE RESTRAINED BY A SEAT BELT IF CHILD WEIGHS AT LEAST 40 POUNDS OR IF THE CHILD’S HEIGHT IS OVER FOUR FEET AND NINE INCHES.

• ALWAYS SET BRAKE, TURN OFF POWER, LIGHTS, RADIO AND REMOVE KEY WHEN VEHICLE IS PARKED. VIP carts with Radio/Bluetooth left on will be charged $150 fee to replace the battery in order to get the cart running again.

• PLEASE USE A TOWEL ON SEATS WHEN USING TANNING OILS OR SUNSCREENS. DISCOLORED SEATS WILL BE CHARGED A REPLACEMENT OR CLEANING FEE UPON RETURN.

• NO DRINKING ALCOHOL WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE. NO DRIVING VEHICLE WHILE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL

• THERE IS NO REFUND FOR ANY UNUSED TIME OR EARLY RETURN OF VEHICLE.

• HOLIDAY (ex. 4TH OF JULY, MEMORIAL DAY AND LABOR DAY) RESERVATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO A $79 CANCELLATION FEE DUE TO THE HIGH DEMAND OF RENTALS DURING THOSE PERIODS OF TIME.

In consideration of the rental of this golf cart, I agree to:

1. Abide by the above RULES AND INSTRUCTIONS.

2. Leave the cart in as good a condition as I received it.

3. The cart must be returned at the specified time and date or a late charge will be added to your credit card.

4. Reimburse the owner for or pay for any damages sustained to the cart or property during this rental period. High Tide Carts has the right to furthermore add rental charges to the renter while waiting for said reimbursement and reparation of the damage.

5. Violations of the Glynn County PTV Ordinance by the operator will be charged solely against the renter and all fines and penalties shall be levied against the operator.

6. defend, indemnify and hold the owner & his/her agent(s) harmless from and against all claims, suits and liabilities, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, for any and all damages to property whatsoever, caused by, arising from incident to, connected with, growing out of, or related to the use and/or operation of this golf cart during this rental period.

FURTHERMORE, I REPRESENT THAT I AM FAMILIAR WITH THE OPERATION AND USE OF SUCH GOLF CART, THAT I HAVE READ THE RULES AND INSTRUCTIONS CONTAINED HEREIN, AND THAT I AM CAPABLE OF OPERATING THE GOLF CART SAFELY AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH SAID RULES AND

INSTRUCTIONS.
